□ 초록

 이 글은 2000년대 이후 국내로 이주한 동북아 코리언의 정체성이 한국인과의 만남을 통해 충돌과 갈등을 겪으며 어떻게 변화하고 있는지를 그들이 지닌 민족적 동일화의 욕망과 관련하여 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이들의 민족적 동일화의 욕망이 어떠한 양상으로 전개되는 지를 살펴보기 위해 세 측면에 대한 분석이 필요하다.

 우선 동북아 코리언의 국내이주 원인에 대한 분석이다. 그들의 국내 이주는 신자유주의적 세계화가 촉발한 국제적 노동이주라는 글로벌 차원과 디아스포라의 귀환이라는 내셔널 차원이 중층적으로 결합되어 있기 때문에, 양자의 관계성 속에서 이해될 필요가 있다.(2장)

 둘째, 동북아 코리언이 지닌 민족적 동일화의 욕망을 좌절시키는 한국인의 차별에 대한 분석이다. 이들은 같은 민족으로서의 대우를 기대하며 국내에 이주하였지만, 계급적 차별과 국적에 따른 차별 그리고 생활문화의 차이에서 오는 충돌을 경험한다.(3장)

 셋째, 동북아 코리언의 민족적 동일화에 대한 기대가 좌절되면서 정체성을 재구성하는 다양한 전략에 대한 분석이다. 이들은 신자유주의적 세계화가 유발하는 유동적이고 불안정한 삶 때문에 자신들의 삶에 안정감을 부여하는 새로운 민족적 유대의 다양한 방식들을 창출하려고 노력하고 있다.(4장)

 결론적으로 같은 민족에 대한 기대와 좌절, 그리고 이를 극복하기 위한 정체성의 다양한 전략에서 드러나는 이들이 지닌 민족적 동일화의 욕망은 탈냉전 시대의 새로운 한(조선)민족 네트워크 그리고 통일한(조선)반도의 형성에서 숙고를 요하는 매우 중요한 문제이다.

□ Abstract

 The purpose of this paper is, in relation to the Northeast Asia Koreans’ desire for ethnic identification, to analyze how their identity have changed suffering collisions and conflicts through a meeting with South Koreans since the 2000’s. To investigate whether their desire for ethnic identification to be deployed in any aspect, analysis of the three sides is required.

 First, Analysis of the causes migrated to South Korea is required. Their migration to South Korea should to be understood in relation of the two levels, because the global level of international labor migration triggered by neoliberal globalization and national level of return of the Diaspora is combined compositionally in it.(Chapter 2)

 Secondly, Analysis of the discrimination of Koreans to frustrate their desire for ethnic identification is required. They expected to be treated as the same nation and migrated to South Korea. However, they experienced the class discrimination, nationality discrimination, and conflict coming from the difference between life culture.(Chapter 3)

 Thirdly, Analysis on a variety of strategies to reconstruct the identity as their expectations for ethnic identification frustrated, is required. They are trying to create a new national bonds in a variety of ways to give a sense f security in their lives, because of fluid and unstable life by neoliberal globalization.(Chapter 4)

 In conclusion, their desire for ethnic identification is evident in expectations for the same nation and frustration, furthermore in various identity strategies for overcoming it. Therefore their desire for ethnic identification is a very important topic that requires deliberation to create a new Korean network and a unified Korean Peninsula in the post-Cold War era.
