◆ 국문초록

이 글은 자기서사의 변화를 위해 활용되는 서사지도 및 창작치료 기법을 설명하고, 그것이 적용된 상담 사례를 제시하고 있다. 서사지도는 서사의 다기성을 전제로 한 문학치료 설계 방법론으로 다양한 서사의 연결망 속에서 자기서사의 위치를 발견하게 하고, 특정 문제상황에서 전개될 수 있는 다양한 서사의 길을 안내하면서 내담자의 새로운 정식적 도식 탐색 작업을 돕는다. 그리고 문학치료의 ‘치료’ 과정에서 서사지도가 그 기능을 발휘하는 지점은 창작 활동에 있다고 할 수 있다. 내담자는 서사지도의 작품들을 감상하면서 자기서사의 허용범위 안에서 특정 작품서사들을 내면화하고, 그것이 자기서사와 조응되면서 자기서사의 일부가 작품서사로 부상하여 하나의 창작물로 생산된다. 문학치료는 이 과정에서 작품서사와 자기서사의 상호작용은 활발하게 일어나 자기서사의 변화 가능성이 열린다고 본다. 본고는 이러한 문학치료의 효과를 <신립장군과 원귀>를 반복적으로 재창작했던 내담자의 사례를 통해 제시하였다. 내담자가 드러낸 작품 해석 방식 및 창작 방식의 특징을 꼽아보며, 상담과정에 필요했던 세 갈래의 서사지도를 설명하고 그의 창작물이 변화된 과정을 논의하였다. 그리고 작품 감상과 창작 방식의 변화가 삶의 변화로 이어진 결과를 통하여 문학치료 효과를 논하였다.

◆ Abstract

This article discusses the use of the “Story Map” and “Creating a Story” techniques in literary therapy and presents a counseling case in which they are applied. “Story Map” is a literary therapy design methodology based on the premise of “Divergence of Story,” which helps clients discover the location of “Change Process of Story-in-depth of Self (SIDS)” in the vast network of literary works and guides clients through various narrative paths that can unfold in specific problematic situations, while helping clients explore new mental schemas pertaining to literary therapy. In addition, the process through which “Story Map” reveals its function in the therapy process can be termed the creative activity process. While appreciating the function of Story Map, clients internalize specific narratives within the permissible range of SIDS; as these narratives are in harmony with SIDS, some of them are implemented as creative work. Literary therapy experts believe that in this process, the interaction between story-in-depth of text (SIDT) and SIDS occurs actively, opening up the possibility of changes in SIDS. This article presents the effects of this literary therapy process by examining the case of a client who repeatedly recreated “General Sinrip and Lemures.” We provide a detailed discussion of the process of change in his creative work by highlighting the characteristics of the client’s work interpretation and creative style, explaining the various story maps used in the counseling process, and examining the effects of literary therapy in terms of the changes in creative style leading to changes in life.
