◆ 초록

본 연구는 남북의 가치충돌의 가능성을 냉철하게 전망하고 그것을 구성하는 세부내용과 극복대안 등을 미리 예측하는 데 목적을 둔다. 특히 그러한 가치충돌을 명확하게 인식하기 위한 하나의 방법론적 영역으로서 ‘혈연공동체’라는 범주를 설명하고 그 범주에서 드러나는 가치관과 그 변화양상을 추적한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 질적 연구방법론으로서 ‘초점집단면접(Focusing Group Interview: ‘FGI’)’ 방법을 채택하였다. 연구결과를 보면 ‘부부관계’의 차원에서는 ‘자본주의적 부부관’에 대한 남북의 갈등, 그리고 남북과 탈북 부부 사이에서의 젠더갈등의 가능성이 더욱 커질 것으로 조사되었다. ‘부모-자녀관계’에서는 자본주의적 생활양식에 대한 비판과 가족주의의 양가성이 나타나고 있음을 확인하였다. 이를테면 전통적인 훈육관을 둘러싼 남북의 갈등, 가족의 의미에 대한 남북의 차이가 발생할 것으로 전망된다. ‘친족관계’에서는 자본주의 적응을 둘러싼 현실적인 어려움과 고난을 같이 헤쳐나가는 혈연적 연대의 대상으로 친족이 환기되는 한편, 이를 통해 한국의 친족관과 충돌 가능성이 확대되고 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 한반도 통일 시대의 남북 가치충돌의 구체적인 양상 및 그 대안 모색에 대한 보다 심층적이고 활발한 연구를 제안하고 있다.

 

◆ Abstract

The purpose of this study is to accurately predict the possibility of values conflicts between South and North Korea and identify pertinent details and solutions to overcome them in advance. In particular, the "blood-based community" category is explained as a methodology to clearly understand values conflicts. Moreover, the values themselves and their change patterns within the category are examined. To this end, this study adopted the focus group interview (FGI) technique to conduct qualitative research. Results predicted more conflicts on "the view of capitalist marriage" between South and North Korean married couples, as well as gender conflicts between South and North Korean couples and North Korean defector couples. As for parent-child relations, criticism of the capitalist lifestyle and the ambivalence of familism were found. For example, South and North Koreans are expected to experience conflicts over the viewpoint of traditional education and the meaning of family. Regarding kin relationships, the possibility of conflicts over the Korean kinship systems is increasing, while overcoming real-world difficulties and hardships while adapting to capitalism is considered blood-related solidarity. Lastly, this study suggests further in-depth research to explore specific aspects of values

conflicts between South and North Korea and identify solutions for them in preparation for the reunification of the two Koreas.
