◆ 초록

본 연구는 현재 북 사회의 가치체계를 명확하게 인식하기 위한 하나의 방법론적 영역으로서 ‘혈연공동체’라는 범주를 설명하고 그 범주에서 드러나는 가치관과 그 변화양상을 추적한다. 구체적으로 이것은 ‘부부관계’, ‘부모-자녀관계’・‘친족관계’와 같은 혈연공동체 차원에서 발생하는 가치지향을 탐구하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 질적 연구방법론으로서 ‘초점집단면접(Focusing Group Interview: ‘FGI’)’ 방법을 채택하였다. 연구결과 ‘부부관계’의 차원에서는 가부장적 부부관의 전승과 변용, ‘부모-자녀관계’에서는 시장화에 따른 전통적 가족주의의 새로운 재구성 등이 수행되고 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막 ‘친족관계’에서는 친족이 전통적, 가부장적 의미를 탈각하고 현실적인 어려움과 고난을 같이 헤쳐나가는 혈연적 연대의 대상으로 작동하고 있음을 확인하였다. 끝으로 본 연구는 북의 공식담론과 생활세계 사이에서 발생하는 가치관의 균열과 충돌을 예상하고, 이를 한국과의 비교로까지 확대시키는 후속 연구를 제안하고 있다.

 

◆ Abstract

This study explains the scope of a kinship community and explores values within the scope and their transformation as methodological research to clarify the value system of the current North Korean society. Specifically, this study investigates the value orientation at the level of the kinship community, such as marital relationship, parent-child relationship, and blood relationship. For the qualitative research, the method of Focusing Group Interview (FGI) was used. As a result, the transmission and transfiguration of the perception of patriarchal marriage was found at the level of marital relationship, and the reconstruction of traditional familism resulting from marketization at the level of parent-child relationship. Lastly, as for blood relationship, the traditional and patriarchal kinship had faded, and relatives became the object of kinship solidarity to overcome realistic difficulties and hardships together. Finally, this study predicted the cracks and conflicts in values between the official discourse and everyday life of North Korea and proposed a follow-up study to compare them with South Korea.
