□ 초록

이 연구는 심각해져가는 탈북민들의 정신건강 문제에 대한 인문학적 대안으로, ‘이주와 성공’의 고전서사를 활용한 문학치료 활동에 대해 논하였다. 이 활동에서 탈북민들은 「해와 달이 된 오누이」를 두고 이 작품의 결말을 비극적으로 해석하며 하늘의 동아줄은 비현실적이라고 평가하는 반응을 보였다. 이는 탈북과 적응으로 누적된 피로와 무망감으로 해석된다. 이에 대한 치유 방안으로 오누이가 성공하는 서사도 인정할 수 있도록 탈북민들 스스로 ‘내 삶의 동아줄’을 기억해내는 문학치료 활동을 실행하였다. 그 결과 대체로 이 설화에 대한 기억과 호응도가 변화하였으나, 이 작품과 유사한 고난을 경험한 탈북민은 끝내 비극형서사에 대한 신념을 바꾸기 어려워했다. 이 연구와 같이 탈북 트라우마와 관련된 작품 발굴과 치유 기법 개발 연구가 지속되면 탈북민들의 행복을 지원하는 문학치료 프로그램이 완성될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

 

 

□ Abstract

The literature therapy program presented in this study is a humanistic alternative to the mental health problems of North Korean defectors. In this literary therapy activity, North Korean defectors responded to the "Sun and Moon". They appreciated this story and reacted to criticism of the horrors of the escape from North Korea and the unreasonable world in which the evil powerful win. And they regarded the success of siblings and the circle of heaven as an unreal happy ending. I interpret this as a result of accumulated fatigue and hopelessness in defection and adaptation. The way to heal them was to recall the "Dongro of my life" themselves and to create a new work. As a result, the memory and response to this story changed. However, the North Korean defectors who experienced similar hardships were hard to change their belief in the tragedy story. If such research continues, a promising healing program will be completed in the future.
