□ 초록

 이 글은 현대 한국 사회의 첨예한 갈등이 분단과 한국전쟁이라는 역사적인 사건과 분단체제에서 비롯되었다고 진단하 고, 이를 통합하기 위한 문화적인 장치들에 대해 연구하고자 한다.

 한국 사회 갈등의 주요 원인인 분단서사는 분단과 한국전쟁이라는 역사적 사건, 분단체제의 지속 속에서 형성된 한국 사회의 갈등을 그대로 안고 있는 사고와 말하기 방식이다. 통합서사의 개념은 이러한 분단서사를 완화시키는 일련의 인간 활동으로 사회를 통합시키는 서사적 장치로 보고 접근한다. 

 분단서사를 넘어서 통합서사로 가는 데는 몇 단계의 완화 과정이 있다. 1단계는 신변의 안전이 확보된 상태에서 고발을 통한 해원(解寃)의 서사이다. 2단계는 적대하는 상대를 동정(同情)의 시각으로 보는 포용(包容)의 서사이다. 3단계는 화해(和解)를 통한 통합서사의 완성이다. 이러한 통합서사의 단계는 반드시 순차적이라고 할 수는 없다.

 사람의 심리나 정서적인 측면에 호소하거나 치유를 시도함으로써 온전한 사회 통합, 국가 통일은 가능하다. 통일이나 통합의 장치로서 문학이나 예술영역의 인문학이 갖는 강점이 여기에 있다.

 한국 역사에 등장하는 다양한 이야기에서 해원의 서사, 포용의 서사, 통합의 서사 사례를 찾을 수 있다. 이것을 현대의 분단서사를 극복하는 문화적 장치로 활용해 볼 수 있다. 그리고 통합서사의 담론화를 통해 사회적으로 확산하고, 이를 통해 분단 트라우마를 치유할 수 있다.

□ Abstract

 This article is to diagnose that sharp social conflicts of the modern South Korea has been derived from historical events of division and Korea War and the division system, to study on the cultural devices for integrating them.

 The division narrative of main cause of South Korea social conflict is thinking and speaking manner showing the conflict of South Korea formed in the continuation of the division system based on historical events of division and Korea war.

 The concept of integration narrative is a narrative device integrating the society as a series of human activities to mitigate the division narrative. There are mitigation courses of several steps to go to the integration narrative over the division narrative.

Step 1 is the narrative of solving grudge through prosecution while ensuring safety of the personal.

Step 2 is the narrative of tolerance seeing opponents with the perspective of sympathy.

Step 3 is a completion of integration narrative through reconciliation.

 These steps of Integration narrative might not necessarily be sequential. Full social integration and national unity are possible by trying to heal as appealing to people’s psychological and emotional aspects. The humane studies in literature or art area is most suitable as a device of unity and integration.

 We can find examples of narrative of solving grudge, narrative of tolerance and narrative of integration in stories appeared in Korea history. This Can be taken advantage as a cultural device to overcome the modern division narrative. And spread socially through discussions of integration narrative, can heal the trauma of division through them.
